Village tours

Tour of Langnau

Langnau, as the center of the upper Emmental, has a very heterogeneous development. Urbanization began as early as 1900 and the previously rural village became increasingly diverse.
If you walk through Langnau with open eyes, you will discover an incredible wealth of magnificent houses, unusual shapes and pretty details. On a guided tour, you will learn about the building history, the past and the development of the village.

We offer guided tours of the village in German, French, English and Italian.
Duration approx. 1 1/2 hours, for groups of up to 20 people.

10.00 a.m. Visit to the Kambly Experience, the birthplace of Switzerland’s best-known and most popular biscuit brand.
11.00 a.m. Transfer to Ranflüh.
11.30 a.m. A small aperitif with Swiss wine and samples of cheese and sausage from the farm awaits you at the Gasthof Bären Ranflüh.
12.00 hrs Afterwards we serve you a delicious Emmental 3-course menu
14.00 hrs Transfer to the Chüechlihus Regional Museum in Langnau
