It’s worth taking a closer look!
The treasure hunt reveals special details in the Chüechlihus and brings 500 years of history to life right there in the building. From the former smokehouse to mysterious architectural features and the geraniums by the house, there are historical clues and stories to discover. This exploration connects the permanent exhibition with the “spychere!” project and invites visitors to see the Chüechlihus in a whole new light.
The treasure hunt is a permanent feature and can be explored on your own using a tablet during your visit to the museum. It is included in the combination ticket.

The entertaining Emmental cultural snack
Discover the Emmental’s cultural heritage with the “Brätzeliroute”! On this entertaining, interactive tour through the Chüechlihus Regional Museum, you’ll solve puzzles and learn surprising facts about the Emmental. At the end of the tour, a little surprise awaits you—along with a reward: an appetizer and snack basket.

With its new “Brätzeliroute” aperitif/snack format— developed in collaboration with Spielkultur GmbH, the Chüechlihus Regional Museum offers an entertaining experience for cyclists and other visitors who want to learn more about the Emmental in a quick tour and gain the cultural background needed for new cycling tours and other excursions in the region. This entertaining glimpse into the history, crafts, and cuisine of the Emmental is the perfect complement to a stay in the region.
